Chrome Hearts Sizing Guide: Hoodies, Tees, and Pants
One of the most common questions about buying Chrome Hearts apparel is how it fits. Chrome Hearts has its own sizing conventions — understanding them before you buy can save you from an expensive mistake.
Does Chrome Hearts run big? Buy the measurements, not the tag
There is no reliable rule for what a Chrome Hearts size 32 will feel like on you. Cuts differ by model, by production era, and by pair. Two pairs with the same number on the tag can wear like different garments.
So we don’t ask you to trust a rule. We measure every pair by hand and publish six numbers on every listing. Compare those against a pair you already own, and you’ll know exactly how it will fit before it ships.
Here’s what each number means and how to use it.
How do you measure Chrome Hearts denim and pants?
Every pair is measured laid flat, buttoned, without stretching the fabric.
Waist
Laid flat and buttoned, straight across the top of the waistband from edge to edge.
We publish the flat measurement, not the circumference. Double it for the full waist — a 16" flat measurement is a 32" waist. Sellers across the resale market report this inconsistently, and it’s one of the most common reasons a pair arrives wrong. Whenever you’re buying elsewhere, ask which number you’re being given.
Front Rise
From the crotch seam straight up to the top of the waistband.
Rise is the measurement most buyers skip and the one that most determines whether a pair looks right on your body. It sets where the waistband sits. Too high for your torso and you get bunching at the waist; too low and the seat pulls. Compare this number against your reference pair before anything else.
Thigh
Straight across the leg from the crotch seam to the outseam.
This is what separates a slim pair from a relaxed pair, and it moves independently of the tagged size. Two pairs tagged 32 can differ by two inches here.
Knee
Straight across the leg at the knee.
Read this next to the thigh. A knee measurement close to the thigh means a straight leg. A knee much narrower than the thigh means a taper.
Inseam
Along the inside seam, from the crotch to the bottom hem.
Check this against your own pair before you buy. If it’s longer than you want, factor hemming into the cost — and note that hemming a patch or selvedge pair is not always straightforward.
Leg Opening
Straight across the bottom hem.
This sets the silhouette from the knee down. Under 8" reads slim, around 9" reads straight, over 10" reads relaxed or wide. Pair it with the knee measurement to picture the whole leg line.
